That All May Adore You

Spread the love

“O Eternal Love, You command Your Sacred Image to be painted. And reveal to us the inconceivable fount of mercy, You bless whoever approaches Your rays,
And a soul all black will turn into snow.
O sweet Jesus, it is here You established the throne of Your mercy to bring joy and hope to sinful man. From Your open Heart, as from a pure fount, Flows comfort to a repentant heart and soul. May praise and glory for this Image Never cease to stream from man’s soul.
May praise of God’s mercy pour from every heart, Now, and at every hour, and forever and ever.” Divine Mercy In My Soul # 1

“Be adored, O Most Holy Trinity, now and for all time. Be adored in all Your works and all Your creatures. May the greatness of Your mercy be admired and glorified, O God.” Divine Mercy In My Soul # 5

That all may come to adore God in His Glory. That every soul may feel the loving touch of Divine Mercy.

We slowly proceed toward Easter and the Feast of Divine Mercy. In these final days, prepare your soul through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Then, meditate upon what God has done for you. His Divine Mercy washes pure the greatest of sinners though their soul may be darkened with the greatest of sins.

A great way to focus upon this magnificent gift, this treasure, is to sit, gazing upon the image of the Merciful Jesus. Look into His Sacred Heart, pierced by the spear for you. This heart in the image, pours forth the blood and water to wash you clean. Look at His feet, dirtied as they climbed to Calvary, bearing the weight of your sin upon the cross. Feet, pierced by the nail that you may climb in joy to His love. Look into His Merciful eyes. See nothing but the purest of pure loves shining back at you. The Divine Gaze of Mercy shines upon you without hesitation or judgment. His eyes rest upon His child – you. Eyes that call you forward to receive His blessing of Divine Mercy.

In every Church we attend as we travel, my gaze falls first upon the altar then rapidly do I seek this image. In most Catholic Churches it is found. In many, it holds a place, forefront in honor. In all, Divine Mercy radiates forth from His love, deep deep love from the Holy Eucharist.
