From my personal journal from last year.
Lord, my God, I just want to thank You today. Nothing more. I just want to thank You for being You. I want to thank You for Your love, Your grace and Your Divine Mercy.
I ask nothing more than to be right here, now, in Your Holy Presence, leaning against Your knee with Your momma in this moment of adoration and awe of You.
My heart is filled to overflowing with joy of Your Presence. All I was, for this moment at least is lost in You, my Jesus.
I thank You for all You’ve done upon the cross for me. For all You’ve done to keep and protect me from the worst and most deadly trod laid before me by the enemy.
I thank You, Lord, for being at my side when I needed You most, even when I wasn’t wanting You near or seeking You.
I thank You, my God, for loving me when I didn’t love You and when I was unlovable in my sin.
I thank You, Lord of Mercy, for Your Divine Mercy. Always present in my life especially when I deserve it least and have fallen furthest from Your Presence.
You have called me to be Your son and have made it possible through the covenant of Your Precious Blood.
Again, I just want to say thank You!
