“Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then, I will teach transgressors Your ways and sinners will return to You” – Psalm 51:12-13
Divine Mercy is the seed of the “joy of salvation.” From this seed bears the fruit of the return of the sinner to God.
When a soul surrenders with a contrite heart to God’s Divine Mercy, the joys of salvation returns and overwhelms the soul. Then, like the song says, “how can I keep from singing Your Praise!”
As the ‘Joy of Your salvation’ settles again upon the heart, or maybe it’s better to say, as the Joy rises from the soul, the joy exudes from the spirit and heart. The mind can’t tamp it down or suppress it.
Words cannot describe the joy of a soul cleansed by Divine Mercy. Just a brushing encounter with this mercy changes a soul forever.
How can that soul not dance and sing praises with joy? Then, how can others witnessing this brightened soul’s change and joy not see and desire to have that same joy?
With each soul the Joy of the Holy Spirit and of Christ’s salvation grows and is renewed to spread. This cycles of joy continues until all souls encounter Hid Divine Mercy, even to the ends of the earth.
