Praise Monday – Make It Well With My Soul

Spread the love

A new song by Mercy Me captures the call of the heart to the Holy Spirit following this Pentecost.

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:7

It is from the Holy Spirit alone which we draw upon the endless font of peace.

If there are any words of Jesus’ to commit to memory and pull out through the day, they are from John 14:27.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled; be not afraid” – John 14:27

When trust reigns in the heart, no storm or worldly struggle can lower his hands from praise. No joy or success can raise them higher. The soul is in total peace and cries out with all his soul, “it is well with my soul!”
