Come Holy Spirit – To The Ends of the Earth

Spread the love

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

These words come to mind as I look at the award I received from WordPress today.

Receive views from 50+ different countries.

With 80,000 views and 52,000 visitors to my blog, I am humbled and very much stunned.

When I started The Road of Faith (www.theRoadofFaith.net), it was for a small group of brothers and sisters at our local parish and ministries. I had a plan with the start of our RV travels to share the sites of our faith across the country and maybe some reflective thoughts as God shared them.

Now, 2,300 straight unbroken days of reflections later, we’ve traveled on The Road of Faith to 50 different countries. The USA, Ireland, Philippines, Australia, China, Singapore, UK, Italy, South Africa, Dominica, Hungary, Czech, Spain, India, Nigeria, France, South Korea, Bangladesh Croatia, Thailand, Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Israel and beyond.

I am stunned and honored to have so many join along the Road of Faith.

But, none of this is my doing, I know. It is all from God and for God.

Along the past few years, I pray that my reflections have helped someone draw closer to God, or maybe even, to find God. Several have traveled to some of the ‘Faith on the Road’ sites to enjoy the history of our Church across the US.

Thank you for being part of this journey along my Road of Faith.

Keep spreading the Good News of Jesus to everyone you know and meet. Share the love and Divine Mercy of God ‘to the ends of the earth.”

“I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth” – Isaiah 49:6

  1. Thank you Jesus for your servants Ed and Connie! Your work through Ed Lord has drawn me closer to you. I have a long way to go but I am grateful to you Jesus for placing witnesses like Ed and Connie in my path!

As my mother-in-law (God rest her soul) would always finish her travel prayers with these words: “Our Lady of the Highways, pray for us!”

    Safe travels!

    1. Haha! Any time we would travel one of our travel prayers is “Our Lady of the Highways”
