“And the Lord said, I am acting thus with him to give testimony that this work is Mine. Tell him not to fear anything; My gaze is on him day and night. There will be as many crowns to form his crown as there will be souls saved by this work. It is not for the success of a work, but for the suffering that I give rewardDivine Mercy in my soul # 90

I lived through the trials and took the time to journal and then write about those days in “I knew His Voice“. But, this isn’t my story. None of what I reflect upon on The Road of Faith is my story to claim.

Everything that has occurred throughout my life is truly God’s story.

I’m not comparing my book in any way to the Gospels, but, when I was writing “I knew His Voice”, I had a sense of what it must have been like for Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Matthew, Mark and John each lived through all the events they wrote about. They could only write about what they saw through their eyes, they told their story. We know though that everything they wrote was inspired by God.

Through the events written in “I knew His voice”, Jesus walked with me and spoke to me. How can I not tell of these events? All the effort and expense to write and publish this book are worth it, if Jesus is able to use it to reach into someone’s life.

Like the Gospel writers, I played a very small part in the story we wrote about. It isn’t about fame or glory that these stories are being told. The sole purpose of these writings and all those of the saints and church doctors is to open hearts and eyes to Jesus.

I’ve told my story from “I knew His Voice” and the years before and after those events. It isn’t uncommon for someone to tell me how they don’t have a story of that they wish they had a story like this.

They couldn’t be more wrong. Everyone who has given their lives to the Lord has a story. There is always a point in which the road of faith began for the soul. And, there are many events along the road of faith’s journey that had impact to make the pathways more clear. It isn’t about the hugeness of the story. It’s about the willingness to be open and read to tell it.

The more one looks at their life, the more the soul sees how Jesus is writing the story of their Road of Faith. Big or small, telling your story as you are experiencing it can impact many souls.

It doesn’t matter if I sell just one more copy of “I knew His Voice”. What matters is that it reaches out to open one more soul’s heart to the possibility of surrendering their life to Jesus and trusting Him.

Are you willing to tell the story God is writing of your Road of Faith? What’s holding you back? You have a story, tell it.
