“I will stand at my watchpost, and station myself on the rampart; I will keep watch to see what he will say to me, and what he will answer concerning my complaint.” Habakkuk 2:1
Set the guard on the tower! Be wary of the approaching enemy. Have courage in the dark hours to call out the warning.
This is not some whimsical statement. As Catholic Christians, we are called by God to be watchers. But, a watcher must have courage to cry out with a loud voice when the enemy in encroaching upon the walls. That time is now. The enemy is at the walls, in fact, right now, the enemy is within the gates. The enemy is attacking our families, he has emasculated our fathers and men. The enemy is poised to destroy all that is beautiful and important in our society.
Where are the watchers? Where are we to call out a warning?
When we call out, society calls us many names and says we are fear mongering. But, the watcher calling out is not making the evil, just identifying it so others can see and defend themselves.
Do you have courage to call out the enemies inside the gates? The enemies crashing against the walls?
