“In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.’” Luke 1:26
“Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people” Luke 2:9-10
Gabriel is translated as “God is my strength.” Gabriel appears as the voice and proclaimed of the great news of the New Testament. An Angel is a Divine messenger. They are the voices of God in word and actions.
In these days, it is time for Gabriel to come again. It would be awesome to see the Arch Angel Gabriel proclaiming God’s glorious message from the skies above. But, my call to you on the Road of Faith is that YOU be ‘Gabriel.’ YOU be the angel messenger of god in today’s times.
The events written in Luke and Christmas Day are past for us, we live now is the Christmas season and joys. Joys that all can feel, not only Christians. But, with Christmas Day being just a day past, so many, including Catholics, are already tearing down and storing their lights and ornaments. Darkness is making strong moves to take back its power over the Light in the present days. THIS IS the time for Gabriel’s voice to be heard.
Gabriel came in power in Daniel 8 & 9, he came again in humility in Luke 1, and again in power and joy in Luke 2. In these days when darkness tries so hard to exert its evil power over man, it is time for each of us to step up into his role and become the voice of God. We can stand up in the full power of God, proclaiming humbly and with joy the news of the Gospel that we have witnessed in our very own lives. It is not the time to catechize. It is the time to stand and speak the truth of God and His message proclaimed to you and from your own voice to others.
Tell your story today. Share the good news of God’s love and joy.
“For nothing will be impossible with God.’” Luke 1:37
By your voice, many will be saved. Speak now!
