“Write this: before I come as the Just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort: All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 83
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:29-31
Scary stuff, huh? Especially if you read the news.
Take heart. Jesus told St. Faustina, “before I come as the Just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy.” Look deeper into the ‘news’, good news. Fatima, St. Faustina, Garabandal, Međugorje, and so many other occurrences point to the King of Mercy.
I guarantee, the end of the age is fast approaching. It is coming soon. I don’t know when, soon to God could be by the time you finish reading this post or a thousand years from now. Don’t wait. Don’t gamble on, “I got time.”
“You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you.” Luke 12:20
I know a man, a friend, who assumes God must give him mercy as the thief on the cross. Remember, though, there was another man hanging whose heart was hardened and couldn’t ask mercy.
Be prepared, now.
Now, is a fantastic time to go find out for yourself. To seek ‘the King of Mercy.’ He is waiting your approach right now in the confessional. His tears stream down His Holy Face when any soul walks past without a glance, and more so when a soul glances but assumes time is plentiful or that He will be merciful.
You must want mercy to obtain it. “a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” Psalm 51:17
I beg you, run to the King of Mercy before you find yourself standing in judgment before the Just Judge.
I can’t guarantee the timing of these signs or Jesus’ return. But, what I can guarantee is wont regret going to the King and Mercy and asking forgiveness.
