What is the greatest service we can render to our fellow man?
Washing their car or cleaning their house? Not close.
Our greatest service is to share the glory of God – simply to be Charismatic. Share how Jesus Christ has touched your life.
The Holy Spirit makes it simple. He is here among us to give us the words and Fire in the heart to share our joy. The Spirit drives our fear. In the perfect love of the Father, all fear is gone.
Your story, big or small, dramatic or not is proof God is active and alive. Tell it! Learn by steps, and improve as you go. You DO have a story of God in your life. Tell it! Don’t rob or cheat someone of the opportunity and blessing to see God through your eyes and experiences.
We’ve told the story behind “I knew His voice” several times. In small groups, “1on1” and before parish congregations. We didn’t tell the story perfectly the first time but we learned by sharing. And, we’ve touched souls and changed lives. I very much enjoy telling this story and am honored to go to churches to share this great story.
The whole point is that God has touched your life if you are a practicing Catholic Christian. Sharing your story with others is the greatest service you may do to a soul who is wandering and unsure. Sharing your experience, good and bad, is the greatest service you may do to help a rock solid Catholic.
Ultimately you are telling His story and letting people see Jesus. Alive and active.
Then, when the story telling becomes a conversation … “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
