The God Who Sees….

“So she named the Lord who spoke to her, “You are El-roi”; for she said, “Have I really seen God and remained alive after seeing him?” Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; it lies between Kadesh and Bered.” Genesis 16:13-14

Adonai El Roi, the One who numbers the hairs on our heads and who knows our circumstances, past, present, and future.

When you pray to Adonai El Roi, you are praying to the one who knows everything about you. Think about it, even the most watchful parent has to sleep. But Scripture makes it clear our God never slumbers, He never looks one way while we head off in another, He never misses a moment of what is happening on earth. It should assure us God is on the lookout for men and women who are totally committed to him. Why? God wants to strengthen the hearts of those who serve Him.

If you are feeling weak in the face of life’s challenges, the best way to grow strong is to strengthen your commitment to Jesus Christ. Make your decision to obey Him fully, to follow completely, to keep your eyes focused on Him. Let Adonai El Roi take pleasure as He watches over you, and you will soon find your heart stronger and your confidence deeper without quite knowing how it happened.

“He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber….
