All the great Gifts of the Holy Spirit are of no use of the soul lacks courage. What good if the Gift of faith or of healing or tongues or any gift big or small given by the Holy Spirit of the soul is afraid to let them loose?
Faith will die if the soul doesn’t live and use it. What can a healer accomplish if they never open to the sick?
Even the great gift of God’s Divine Mercy will wither and die to the dying soul if the soul does not reach out for it.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13
Jesus was very clear on how we should move forward in our lives. “Do not fear, only believe.” Mark 5:36
We must courageously step outside our perceived limitations and put aside fear if we are to live a life of Christ. Believe that Jesus is always with you. “Have fear of nothing; I am always with you.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 431. For it is not by your power that anything you do is accomplished, it is by God’s power. And, if God chooses to give you a particular gift, let Him use it through you.
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power” 2 Timothy 1:7
