The fight continues and begins

“”Do not fear, My little child, you are not alone. Fight bravely, because My arm is supporting you; fight for the salvation of souls, exhorting them to trust in My mercy, as that is your task in this life and in the life to come.” After these words, I received a deeper understanding of divine mercy. Only that soul who wants it will be damned, for God condemns no one.” Divine Mercy in my soul # 1452

Divine Mercy Sunday brings us into a whole new place, a new starting point.

On that day… The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.” Divine Mercy in my soul # 699

If you’ve received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Precious Body and Blood of Jesus in the Eucharist, you are made perfectly clean.

Now begins the fight! Jesus upon leaving earth, told the apostles to “make disciples of all nations.” This is in essence the same request our Lord made to St. Faustina when He told her, “fight for the salvation of souls, exhorting them to trust in My mercy.”

And, now following Divine Mercy Sunday, our great God, the Merciful Savior, makes this same request of you.

Are your willing to answer His call? I didn’t ask if you are ready, even though you may not feel ready or qualified to go out to the world to tell of Divine Mercy, Jesus is still asking you to do so.

I am the least likely to be called or capable of this call. I had always been a timid, shy, introvert. I was always more at peace hiding away in my own home. Never feeling comfortable around people, until I really got to know them. And, it’s difficult to get to know someone new when you stay hiding.

The Lord didn’t really ask me if I was ready to answer His call. He didn’t ask me if I felt qualified. Jesus simply spoke to me and said, “Go.”

If the Lord has touched you in any way with His Divine Mercy and power, you ARE qualified to tell the whole world. You have your story. Tell it.

The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few.” Matthew 9:37.
