“Put on the armor of light…put on the Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 13:12,14
It was eternity changing when I met Joy and Patrick Campbell and then participated in the “Victory through Spiritual Warfare” Workshop last year. I didn’t know I had so many thing in my past that had opened portals and blocks that allowed the enemy to maintain control or at least a hold.
I later did Unbound with a great priests and two wonderful brothers to unbind so many more indepth holds the enemy had of my past. This night was very intimate for me and VERY freeing. I can honestly say that I haven’t been the same since these two events.
I was truly set free by both events. These blocks access points that hold a soul back from truly allowing God to draw deeper into your life. Soul ties, Occult, Forgiveness, Fear, Unhealthy ties…. I highly recommend that you join in one of these workshops to learn more when they become available near you. I may share more in upcoming posts.
I learned of things that were holding onto my soul and truly blocking God from entering my soul fully – relationships I had in the past that introduced a specific sin, forgiveness never offered, I played D&D when it was a brand new game and realized this was an occult bind to my soul and so much more.
No kidding, I came home that Saturday, went to my DVD collection and destroyed about 25 DVDs and VHS movies that I realized were not ‘good’ to have around (horror movies, movies that depicted the occult, witchcraft etc). Movies that seemed innocent entertainment but that I realized were allowing open portals into my home, family and myself. Now, I didn’t have how to be a witch or cast spells movies or books – those would have been obvious to me even then. No, these were more sublime – Harry Potter, Practical Magic, etc. I didn’t just throw them out, I didn’t want to risk a Jumanji scene that these ‘washed up on some beach’ to be found be someone unsuspecting. No, I broke them all, placed each in a bag with exorcism salt and then put in the garbage.
I destroyed several hundred dollars worth of collector worthy D&D books that had sat in a closet for years. Books that did depict spells, arcane and demons as well as ‘deity’ worship.
I know there are some that will think of this as drastic and dispute the nature of some of these books and movies. But, to me the eternal nature of my soul was at risk and maybe even more so, those of my family. While I could delude myself to say I was strong enough to resist, could I say the same of others in my home or who may visit?
We need to be extra aware of the enemy’s presence. Do not fall to the world’s deception of the ‘comical’ devil with a red tail and horns. Make no mistake and do not be deluded. The enemy, satan is real and he is prowling just looking for ANY opening to weaken the soul and get it to look away from God, even if just for a moment (or the two hours of a movie). He is actively looking for anyone to let their guard down that he can ‘devour’. For him, it is victory to draw a soul from the Father. He will use any opening that we give to him.
Wrap yourself in prayer and the defense of the Precious Blood of Jesus. Remove everything from your life that is blocking full and total access of God to your life, and then invite Him in. Don’t leave a void for the demons can come back with friends. Please I beg you, if you have any doubts are worries about these blocks and portal, please message me directly. If I don’t have the answer, I will get help. Let’s together stand strong and fight back! Remember, there is victory in the Cross of Jesus and in His Precious Blood!!
“Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground. So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”. Ephesians 6:10-17
