“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
Did you know that God sees you? Oh sure, of course we know that. But, do you truly believe and live in this manner?
God is omnipresent – that means that He is everywhere, all the time. But, you are important enough for Him to be right beside you alone. In your difficult times, Jesus stands at your side. Jesus set aside all His Majesty to come to be with YOU. When you need Him most, cry out and He will be at your side.
I remember the day Jesus came to my daughter for the second time. She had been through months of pain, suffering and battle. My wife and I had been fighting in prayer against the principalities trying to hurt her. That morning, my daughter wouldn’t wake up. She would suffer through blackout spells. That morning was scary and horrible. But, then in desperation, my wife cried out to God, “we need You. We can’t do anything else.” And, almost immediately, our daughter woke up. She had no memory of any thing – it was as if her mind was wiped clean. The only thing she knew was some scripture verses. Later she commented that Jesus was there with her. Read the full story in my book, “I knew His Voice” available on Amazon.
Later that day, the doctors sent her by ambulance to a downtown hospital for better care. I arrived shortly after she got to her room. She told me that Jesus had been with her in the ambulance, though He told her no one else could see Him because He was there only for her. I asked if He was still in the room. “No, He said another was in deep need and He had to go but that He was always with me. Just call out to Him.”
As I reflect on this day, these are words of advise for all of us. Jesus came to teach, suffer and die for you, that you may know the Father and be able someday to stand with Him. The Holy Spirit pours His Pentecostal Power down upon you. God is always with us, exclusively. Just call on His Name and He will be there.
So many people don’t have the faith necessary to believe that He is present when they call. They either doubt He is real, that He is present or that He would come to them (because of sin). Just have faith. That is the whole and only purpose that I wrote “I knew His Voice.” That those with doubt and fear would see that He is present for anyone who calls. When you read this book and buy it to share with another, the prayer that goes with it is that the reader come to hope that Jesus is real and active.
He IS the God Who Sees and hears the cries of His most beloved. His most beloved is the one in most need and most sin. ““Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.”” Matthew 9:12-13
He sees and knows everything. He is right there beside you when you call His Holy Name. Just have faith and hope and the greatest of these Love will be with you.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8
