Why do we try so hard to seek God? Why does it take so much effort for us to discover God’s Divine Will?
Go’s is all around us, He can be seen in everything and everywhere. He is everywhere. We can never escape Him even if we tried. We see God’s Divine Will fills the entirety of the universe.
Yet, we search and search to discover His Will. We need not look far or hard. The Father makes it very simple, it is we who complicate it.
As soon as we cease to resist all of this and open ourselves to accept God’s reality, we begin to live in His Kingdom.
It is so easy, yet so hard.
God is the Creator and Director of all we see, feel and encounter. We encounter Him everywhere we look and see His image in every soul we meet.
As soon as we realize this, we can start to live within His Divine Will. We can begin to open our hearts to all He has to offer. Sometimes what we see and taste is sweet as honey, sometimes it can be bitter. But, we begin to see that what is bitter is often most wholesome and ‘medicinal.’
As soon as we realize God is everywhere and His Will drives everything, we can come to Jacob’s understanding, “Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place; and I did not know it.” And he was afraid, and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.” Genesis 28:16-17
In this moment, Jacob realized there were angels constantly coming between Heaven and earth with messages from Heaven. Suddenly, events are no longer common or even bitter, as we hear God’s Will being delivered in all things.
