”Seek first the Kingdom of God” Matthew 6:33
Seek: (verb) to go in search of, to look for, to try to discover. Seek is an action verb.
The soul must understand that it stands on a precipice between Heaven and hell. The only thing standing between the soul and it’s falling into the pits of hell is the grace and mercy of God.
Our Blessed, loving Mother would tell the soul of her child, “You have to trust in your Lord Jesus. You have to open your heart to let Him in. Jesus loves you. He forgives you”.
Yet, many hearing the voice of Jesus offering His Divine Mercy and the loving Mother of God telling them to turn to Jesus would still find it impossible to accept the Lord’s forgiveness. Because, they are not able to forgive themselves.
This is a lie of the enemy. He holds dominion over so many souls, only because they won’t accept that the God of the universe desires to love and forgive them, no matter what separates the soul from their loving God.
“Write this for the benefit of distressed souls: when a soul sees and realizes the gravity of its sins, when the whole abyss of the misery into which it immersed itself is displayed before its eyes, let it not despair, but with trust let it throw itself into the arms of My mercy, as a child into the arms of its beloved mother. These souls have a right of priority to My compassionate Heart, they have first access to My mercy. Tell them that no soul that has called upon My mercy has been disappointed or brought to shame. I delight particularly in a soul which has placed its trust in My goodness. ” Divine Mercy in my soul # 1541
“Even if the sins of souls are as dark as night, then the sinner turns to My Mercy, he gives Me the greatest praise and is the glory of My Passion” Divine Mercy in my soul # 378
Renounce sin. Every sin, even the smallest and most insignificant must be renounced and confessed. The smallest sins are seeds of greater sin. All sin kills the soul. Mortal sin cuts the sinner off from God’s sanctifying grace until it is repented in the Sacrament of Confession with a priest. Mortal sin is a black spot on the soul through which none of God’s grace can penetrate. Smaller sin, venial, is a cloud that blocks the radiance of God’s Love. Look into the sky. See enough small, puffy clouds in the sky and you will begin to see the sun defused and even blocked. Bring enough of these small sins together and you create the opportunity for a storm, a black cloud of mortal sin. Allow enough of mortal sin’s blackness to gather within the soul and the soul may find it covered so completely that it can’t see the Son not feel His warmth any longer.
Another analogy of this is to consider a pure soul as a mirror. When it is cleansed at baptism, the mirror reflects perfectly the light of God in its cleanliness. As small sins are committed, it is like putting fingerprints on the mirror. The edges are marked but that doesn’t appear to affect the mirror’s reflectivity. Slowly, these light marks may creep toward the middle, but one can still do the reflection well enough through these marks. A mortal sin is like throwing cow dung across the mirror’s surface. Even a small amount makes the mirror reprehensible to gaze upon and destroys the ability to see oneself in its surface. Between all the small smudges and large marks, the mirror comes to a point that it is completely blocked.
For the soul this is a point in which it becomes hardened and can’t see how God would want to love it, or how He could forgive it. The soul can be standing right before the Divine Mercy of God and be unwilling to accept it.
Don’t allow this! This is the worst travesty a soul could face. Freely walking into the depths of hell, even while the Voice of Mercy calls out for it to turn around.
In this moment, God says you “have a right of priority to My compassionate Heart, they have first access to My mercy.” 1541
Renounce your sins, now! Immediately! Stop reading and at this very moment, Turn to God and confess your sins – all of them, big and small. “Even if the sins of souls are as dark as night“, Ask Him for His Mercy. Ask Him to wipe away all stains of sin from the first and smallest to the greatest and darkest. Ask Him in His Divine Mercy and power to make you new and through His Precious blood to break all the ties to sin that the enemy has wrapped around your soul. Break free!
Believe that not only does Jesus have the power to set you free of all sins within His Divine Mercy and Precious Blood, a drop of which could cleanse the whole world. But, know that He has the desire, He wishes nothing more then to free you of Satan’s grip of sin and set you free. Not just this, but like the Prodigal Father, He is running toward you to welcome you home.
Don’t waste this opportunity. This is a decision you don’t want to regret.
Then, go to the Sacrament of Confession, knowing the God of Mercy is waiting for you. Praise His Mercy and hear His loving words, “I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
”..when a soul praise My Goodness, Satan trembles before it and flees to the very bottom of hell” Divine Mercy in my soul # 378
