Rejoice always

Be grateful for the smallest of My graces, because your gratitude compels Me to grant you new graces” Divine Mercy in my soul # 1701

In all time rejoice. The more the soul is grateful for the graces of God, the more Jesus pours graces into the soul.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice….And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4,7

These words speak to what Jesus said to St. Faustina, “Gratitude compels me to grant you new graces.” As the soul grows in gratitude so does God add grace upon grace to the soul. The soul then shines more brilliantly that others may see and become intrigued. The heart filled with gratitude becomes the spark that ignites the dry heart. As the sparks fall upon this dry heart, it is kindled to become a flame.

Gratitude is contagious and spreads like the most wild of fires. When the worldly soul sees a soul filled with gratitude, especially when the worldly soul says this is a time of blame and despondency, the worldly soul wonders within itself how the gracious soul can be filled with gratitude.

Let your heart be filled with praise and gratitude. Remember always that joy brings joy. Even in the darkest hour of the night there is the hope of the new dawn. Hold onto to the hope of the truest dawn, that is Jesus Christ. Your gratitude will bring hope to your soul and that hope will bring grace and peace. This heart of gratitude will be so strange to the world that it will shine bright as the new sunrise.

Always strive to raise your heart in gratitude to God even before bringing your needs. Let your heart of gratitude be the fire that ignites the world with hope.

“we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God.” Romans 5:1-2
