Prove It!

“God – if you claim to love me; PROVE IT!”

“Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Through His life, passion, and crucifixion, God not only atoned for our sins in accordance with what Divine Justice demands, but He won for us our complete pardon as an expression of God’s merciful love. He did this not because we were righteous or clean or deserving. We were in a state of sinful rebellion against God and His Kingdom. We have denied His love, mercy and very existence. We chose a path of self-love, ambition, self-centeredness, lust, pride, and despair. And, yet, “Christ died for us.”

“I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:32

If there had been but one lost sheep, you alone, Jesus would have come to find you and give His life to bring you to the Father.

It’s that simple.

No matter your sin. Whether self-love, ambition, self-centeredness, lust, pride, despair or worse, He is on Calvary for you. Sin committed a thousand times a thousand, He comes to your begging call.
