“I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart and glorify your name for ever” Psalm 86:12
What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with you above the storm
Father, You are King over the flood
I will be still know You are God
We live in such an anxious, anxiety ridden world. There is so much going on around us constantly causing and adding more stresses. Work, earning ‘enough’ money, inflation, achieving, media blasts, attacks against and within the Church, illness and family strife, not to mention Covid and all it adds (and is added to by the government and media fear mongering). What do you do? Where in this world of constant noise can we find even a moment of respite?
God!
Find rest my soul. In Christ alone. Know His power. In quietness and trust. Find God, draw upon the well of peace that He offers to you. And, when it’s too much to take, find rest within Him, “under His Pinions” Psalm 91:4

“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:2-4
