What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
“My heart is spoke for – to hear You say, this one’s mine…“. The words of this song always hold a very dear place in my heart. The first prophetic vision I had ever had was a week before I had heard this song for the first time.
In this vision, I saw myself sitting at a desk in a large, brightly lit courtroom. Sitting opposite me at the prosecutor’s desk sat a very smug person. His anger toward me was almost palpable. I wondered what I had done to make this man hate me so much. I knew if he was against me, I was in trouble.
Suddenly I saw the bailiff beside me walking toward the bench. As he passed I asked where I was. He said, “you sit in the judgment court of the Lord God.” I pointed at the hateful man, “who is he?” The bailiff looked over with a gaze of well acquainted animosity, “that is the adversary. He will press the case against you.” Very afraid, I asked, “do I have defense to stand for me?” The bailiff looked over my shoulder at the door and shrugged. The bailiff turned and walked to the bench. “All rise for the Lord of Lords, our God and Just Judge.”
As soon as the Judge sat down the prosecutor started talking. He listed every sin, big and small. The longer he spoke, the more I felt both the gaze of the Judge and sense of dread and doom. I couldn’t think clearly but knew I had no defense, I was guilty of everything he said. Finally, he smiled menacing at me as he sat.
I knew at this point that I was supposed to stand and present my defense. But, I had none to offer. All I could think to do was throw myself in the mercy of the court. But, I couldn’t stand. The prosecutor glared at me with a malicious smile, I was overcome. I had no hope but for the mercy of the court.
I saw a strange hint of a smile on the bailiff’s face as he looked at me and then over my shoulder. Suddenly, the courtroom doors flew open and the bright hallway light streamed into the room. I heard a noise beside me and glancing saw the prosecutor’s shoulders sag as the smug smile vanished from his face.
From the bright light I saw a man enter the room. His eyes locked on mine he called out to the bench, “this one’s Mine. He is spoken for.”
I heard the gavel and felt mercy flowing from the bench.
Your heart is spoken for just call out to Jesus.

“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:2-4
Thank you Ed! That was beautiful!!
My name was called too. “ she is mine, stay away”. Something won’t leave. It’s using words of the one who prayed for me. In reality, those words are not valid. God word is set! He never looses and I am not a looser
