“I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.” Psalm 86:12
What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
There are many songs honoring and praising the Eucharist. If every song ever written or sung praises the Eucharist, it wouldn’t be enough. The Eucharist truly is “the source and summit” of life.
Spend some time meditating on the awesome gift Jesus offers us in the Eucharist. I pray you’ve been able to partake of this fabulous gift today and every Sunday at Mass. The angels envy us for being able to partake of the Eucharist. It should be for us the only real reason we attend Mass, it is why we are and remain Catholic.
“If angels could be jealous of men,
they would be so, for one reason:
HOLY COMMUNION.” St, Maximillian Kolbe
“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:2-4
