Praise Monday – Reckless Love

Spread the love

“I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.” Psalm 86:12

“He that offers praise as a sacrifice glorifies me” Psalm 50:23

What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?

Do you ever ponder God’s love? We would say this level of love is truly reckless. “Write, My daughter, that I am mercy itself for the contrite soul. A soul’s greatest wretchedness does not enkindle Me with wrath; but rather, My Heart is moved towards it with great mercy” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1739. I mean, really! Who thinks this way?

God the Father does. He wants to give mercy to even the most wretched of souls. “I am more generous toward sinners than toward the just. It was for their sake that I came down from heaven; it was for their sake that My Blood was spilled. Let them not fear to approach Me; they are most in need of My mercyDivine Mercy in My Soul # 1275. He sent His Son, Jesus came to earth for the sinner, not the righteous. The bigger the sinner, the more He would give to save them, to redeem them, to bring them home.

I love this thought, I love this song. It always brings joyful tears to my eyes as I praise the Reckless Love of God for me. Me? Yes even me despite of, or indeed, because of who I was. Enjoy as Praise Nation PGH brings this Reckless Love alive in song.

“The Lord gave me to experience the whole ocean and abyss of His fathomless mercy. Oh, if only souls would want to understand how much God loves them! All comparisons, even if they were the most tender and the most vehement, are but a mere shadow when set against the reality” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1073

“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:2-4
