Lord, you broke the chains of sin and shattered the grip of death itself. You empower me, as your son, to stand before the gates of Hell itself, free of its hold upon me. You break the greatest power Hell held over man – death. Holy Spirit, with You, not only does the evil one lose all power over us, but You empower us to be sons and daughters, armored by You. Undefeated by Your defenses.
Lord, I praise You always. And, when I fall, I praise You even more loudly as I run and jump into Your arms of mercy.
