How You leave the ninety-nine
To find the one missing, feels like that was written
With me on Your mind
And the prodigal son who ran
Leaving his home behind
The part where the father came running to meet him
Did You say that with me on Your mind?
What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
Do you read the words of Jesus and the Bible front to back as words and statements and stories documented and spoken directly to you?
Have you ever thought yourself as the one lost sheep for Whom Jesus came from Heaven to find? Have you ever placed yourself in the place of the prodigal seeing his dad running down the road with tears of joy in His eyes? Have you ever looked at Jesus on the cross, seeing that He is there specifically for you?
All this and much more is true. God’s love for you and desire for your heart lead Him to ‘move Heaven and earth’ to do anything for that heart. Even die on the cross. Don’t look at the Bible as speaking to everyone, try looking at it as written to you. Listen to the words spoken by Jesus on the hill or from the boat or the cross directly to YOU. See His eyes looking at you as He says what you’re reading.
Special for me is always, ‘My sheep know My voice.’ John 10:27. If you’ve read my book, or even my posts on The Road of Faith, you know why.
“Praise the LORD, my soul! I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God while I live.” Psalm 146:1-2
““Let all on earth worship and sing praise to you, sing praise to your name!” Psalm 67:4
