Praise Monday – Lead Me

Spread the love

“Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart” Psalm 111:1

What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?

Passing on the faith is the great challenge of our days. How does a father give their faith to their children in a way that sets them ablaze and gives them the deep abiding love of God they have? Especially when the world and society stands in contradiction to everything they are teaching at home?

The liberal, Marxist schools are overwhelming this generation with messages of man and self over God and that God doesn’t matter today. Parents center life upon their faith and the world unties it all.

No matter how long and persistent the voice of the world is against our message, we must never give up, never surrender. We must persistently preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our deeds and words. Our message must never waiver. If we give an inch the world will take a mile. But, if and when we do fail, we must refocus and draw our center back to the truth.

Actions and deeds speak louder than words. Be seen praying, reading scripture, listening to good Christian music and watching good wholesome shows. Lead by example and when you’re not sure of the road to walk, ask God the Father to lead because we can’t do this without Him.

Lead me, ’cause I can’t do this alone. Father, lead me, ’cause I can’t do this alone

“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:2-4
