“Then she said, “I have one small request to make of you; do not refuse me.” And the king said to her, “Make your request, my mother; for I will not refuse you.”” 1 Kings 2:20
“Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lordyour God is giving you.” Exodus 20:12
A lot of thought lately of our Lady. I love my dad, he passed 31 years ago. I often think of him and how to honor his memory and life. So often, my heart comes back to the fourth commandment. Honor my mother, his wife.
What better way to kick off this week and every day than honoring the Blessed Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in her benevolence, took us at the cross as her children.
Sing your praise of God to His Immaculate Mother, to your ima (mother).
“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me?” Luke 1:42-43
