Funny, I saw this comic strip and I instantly thought of this song.
What truth is there in this for the dad’s out there? We strive to be the best man we can in the eyes of our children and wife, only to fall upon our knees begging God to be more like the Father.
We must follow the lead of our children to be the men we want them to see. Faith of a child is pure – obedient, faithful and trusting.
I know this song will strike a cord with my Emmaus brothers.
“Jesus took a little child and put him among them. He said, “truly, I tell you, unless you have a change of heart and become like a little child, you will not get into the holy nation of heaven. Whoever is without pride as this little child is the greatest in the holy nation of heaven.” Matthew 18:2-4
