What better way than to start the week off by lifting our hearts in praise to our God?!?
And, what more can we offer in praise to the Father through Jesus Christ than to recognize in the Eucharist the One Who the Father sent to give us His eternal life.
I sit here this morning singing this song with Praise Nation PGH and all of you on The Road of Faith. This is from the last Festival of Praise that Connie and I attended just weeks before we left to take up our Road of Faith RV journey. I lift up the song of my heart to THE Bread of Life, our Lord Jesus Christ. I sit here as the sun slowly brightens the sky giving praise that each time I take the Eucharist into my mouth, into my soul, at Mass, the dawn of His Glory brightens my soul.
I pray that you had the joy of receiving Jesus in the Eucharist yesterday at Mass. I pray this seed that Jesus planted within your soul grows to that life giving – eternal life giving bread.
“This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live for ever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.’” John 6:50-51
