What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
“I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.” Psalm 86:12
“He that offers praise as a sacrifice glorifies me” Psalm 50:23
This is a beautiful, contemplative song to start our week.
“How could you look in his tear stained eyes
Knowing it’s you he’s thinking of..” How can any soul not beg for His Divine Mercy when you look upon the Crucifix, knowing what you cost Jesus?
The tears in His Holy eyes are for those sins still committed and unrepented. Day one of the Divine Mercy Novena, Jesus begs mercy for all sinners because the loss of even just one soul breaks His Scared Heart – “Today, bring to Me all mankind, especially all sinners, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1210.
Stop saying no – no more NO’s. Surrender. Take your crucifix from the wall and hold to it as you repeat, “no more no’s Lord, Jesus, I trust in You.”
Is there any way you could say no to this man
If Christ himself were standing here
Face full of glory and eyes full of tears
And he held out his arms and his nail printed hands
Is there any way you could say no to this man
How could you look in his tear stained eyes
Knowing it’s you he’s thinking of
Could you tell him you’re not ready to give him your life
Could you say you don’t think you need his love
Jesus is here with his arms open widе

“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:2-4
