“Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart” Psalm 111:1
What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
Listen to this song and I dare you to not throw your hands in the air and maybe even start to dance.
I heard this first live. Austin French was an opener for MercyMe and did this song. He was such high energy and joyous in his voice. It really mirrored what I felt as I heard the words he was singing. I’ve allowed myself in the past to be chained by my guilt, by the past. I’ve imprisoned myself freely within my own will. I have learned I can never be free while I’m trying to fight to do it my way. I can never be free unless I let go of the past. In the Jesus’ Divine Mercy, all the chains of my guilt and sin are shattered. How about you?
With Jesus, with every beat of my heart, my life is a song of a soul forgiven
I breathe the air of freedom in knowing my life
Is better off in Your hands
The past is gone, what’s done is done
Now I’m alive
And I’m never gonna look back
I can never be, never be, free without you
I can never be, never be, me without you
This is the sound of chains breaking
This is the beat of a heart changing
This is a song of a soul forgiven
This is my freedom hymn
This is my freedom hymn, my freedom hymn
This is my freedom hymn, my freedom hymn
“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:2-4
