What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?

The desire of my heart is surrender to God. I’ve wanted it so much that it is a palpable sensation. Though I have this strong desire, I could never seem to let go and surrender. I would fight against myself and those worldly desires and attachments. I struggled to understand what surrender even is.
Do you know what I mean? Have you ever found yourself hurting to surrender but finding yourself in the same moment fighting to hold onto the world?
Then came this song into my life. It’s like Among The Thirsty wrote the lyrics from the words written within my heart.
At the Emmaus retreat that April day in 2012, I dropped before the tabernacle with tears in my eyes and finally gave everything of what I am to God. My prayer that night was “I am completely surrendering. I am giving You everything. I am all Yours.”
A few years later when I first heard this song it echoed in my heart as a prayer of both desire and praise to God.
The time is right for you to echo the words of this song within your life – surrender. Give your life and your family and all your worldly attachments to God – completely. Let go!
“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;

O magnify the Lord with me,
