“I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.” Psalm 86:12
What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
For me, there is no higher form of praise than to praise God’s Divine Mercy. And, the best way to give thanks and praise to His greatest attribute is through the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
“’Proclaim that mercy is the greatest attribute of God. All the works of My hands are crowned with mercy.’” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 301
This prayer is super special to me. God Himself, with St. Faustina gave me this prayer in an hour of most need. It wasn’t even because my daughter was on a ventilator with an unknown future, it was because of my spiritual crisis that I was in most dire need.
The Chaplet I prayed that night, in the dark of my soul, alone and desolate, was the anchor that I clung to, my salvation.
Pray with me now with this beautiful rendition in song.
Here’s how – how to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
Pray the Chaplet every day at least. Pray it when wallowing in sin, pray it bathed in sanctity. Pray the Chaplet as a lifeline when scared and your heart trembles. Pray it.
And, share it with others. Be an Apostle of Mercy.
“All grace flows from mercy, and the last hour abounds with mercy for us. Let no one doubt concerning the goodness of God; even if a person’s sins were as dark as night, God’s mercy is stronger than our misery. One thing alone is necessary; that the sinner set ajar the door of his heart, be it ever so little, to let in a ray of God’s merciful grace, and then God will do the rest.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1507
