What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
Do you have the faith to ask God to Bring the Rain into your life? “Again he went away for the second time and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” Matthew 26:42. Jesus had the strength, for us, to accept the coming storm with His prayer in Gethsemane.
Most times, we pray for sun shining and clear days. Days of joy and happiness. But, do you ever find yourself asking God to bring the rain or whatever weather He may according to His Will? The peace of accepting God’s Will in all moments of life is a truly special gift of the Lord. There is nothing that can change how I feel about God. I’ve been through the storms. I’ve tried to stand before the wind on my own. I have seen how that went. I’ve stood beside God in mighty storms and seen the power of God against the storms. I will no longer waiver in my faith.
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there’ll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that’s what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain
“I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:2-4
