“I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.” Psalm 86:12
What better way to look at a Monday and start a week than by praising our God?
I am often asked what my favorite praise song is. That’s a more difficult question then you might think. So many songs are special and ‘favorite’ from one moment to another. Some depend upon my mood – do I want to shout with joy to the Lord or reflect upon His love? Am I feeling meditative or want to jump up and dance?
But, when I ponder this question, I do admit to coming back to one song more often than not. For me, “Blessed Be Your Name” is appropriate in the mountains or valleys, when I want to meditate or ‘cheer.’ When I’d play my guitar, this was a warm up song.
