As Christmas quickly approaches, this is one that can revive the spirit.
“Fall on your knees, hear the angel voices”
Christmas is just around the corner, only a couple weeks away. Time to get your spirit in the right place to accept the coming of the King. Like today, His coming was foretold. Yet, then as today, many don’t expect Him nor are they ready at all. So many will be like Herod and his court. They will have no clue of the signs that point toward His. Or, they will totally reject Him. Some even Will desire his destruction so they can keep their life as it is.
Things can’t be more clear to those with the right heart. He is coming. This Christmas, you can look to see light hung on homes and trees to point to something.
‘Prepare a way for the Lord” Matthew 3:3
This is good advise as. Christmas approaches. Hark! He comes! Repent and prepare. Advent is a time of fasting preparation. You never hear of this season as one of fasting in the Church. But, it is precisely that. Time to get right, go to Confession, sing carols of the King, fast and prepare.
The Holy night will be hear soon. Find yourself ready when He comes.
