My soul came alive that day with the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the love of Jesus. I had felt in my heart that I had failed God that night in the ICU, but with His words in confession and the following months as He ‘rebuilt’ my ability to trust God, He breathed life into my soul and His light upon my heart.
“I will bring them to fruition according to My mercy, for nothing can oppose My will.” I will bring them to fruition….to life for nothing opposes the Divine Will of the Father and NOTHING surprises Him. The Father knew that night what my movements would be. He set up a ring around me to defend me in dear St Faustina, through the ever present love of my wife who never fears to trust God simply. He gave me awesome brothers in Emmaus to help walk me through what that didn’t even see in my heart – simply by being present they lifted me up and kept me moving forward and when I wasn’t praying as I should to defend my family, my Emmaus brothers were ‘rocking the gates of Heaven’ for me.
With the words of Jesus each time He spoke to me, what He had told my daughter when He visited her are all the same, “Trust me”
