“”Write down these words, My daughter. Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them.” O human souls, where are you going to hide on the day of God’s anger: Take refuge now in the fount of God’s mercy. O what a great multitude of souls I see! They worshiped The Divine Mercy and will be singing the hymn of praise for all eternity” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 848
We quickly approach the moment which all time changed. In Bethlehem, over two thousand years ago, all things changed. Divine Mercy was placed in a manger. He came from Heaven’s throne to rest in a dirty throne on earth. He came from Heaven’s joyful song of ‘Holy, Holy, Holy’ to hushed silence magi. His guardians went from Seraph angels with many wings and many eyes to grungy shepherds out of the field. Time moved from the chaos introduced by Adam’s sin and Eve’s failing to be broken asunder by a baby on a hushed, silent night in Israel.
This evening the great multitude of angel hosts is joined in hushed silence by the multitude of sinner souls – holiest of hosts join with dirtiest of souls. All exclaiming this evening the coming of Mercy Himself.
“Oh, how beyond comprehension is God’s mercy!” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1698
Spend tonight preparing your heart to see Mercy. Approach the seat of Divine Mercy at the manger with the shepherds. The shepherds came from the fields confused, dirty, afraid, not knowing what to expect. We approach Divine Mercy often in the same way. Dirty in our sins, confused as to why we would be invited, fearful of coming before such glory dressed in our sin. Be confident what to expect tonight when you come to the manger. Inside you will see resting a baby. But, a baby unlike any other…ever. A baby in Whose eyes is love and in Whose heart rests nothing but Divine Mercy for you. You come before this baby dirty in sin and feeling so unworthy, but to this baby, you are more treasured than the gold and gifts of the magi. You are more treasured than the stars lighting the sky above.
Tonight a baby opens the floodgates of Heaven to drown the world in an ocean of Divine Mercy.
Take refuge now at the manger in the fount of God’s mercy. Join the great multitude of souls of whom St. Faustina speaks. Those souls who worship The Divine Mercy. Join the choir of souls who sing tonight and will be singing the hymn of praise for all eternity.
