This is a prayer I wrote many years ago and reconsecrate daily and annually to Jesus in the Divine Mercy through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It’s grown a little as I have grown in my faith and devotion to the Lord. I ask all on the Road of Faith to share my consecration and spread it to all souls.
Today and every day we must desire to renew our consecration in devotion and love through Mary to our Lord. We need to spread this consecration to Divine Mercy to all we meet. We need to be His apostles of Mercy in these dark days.
“Lord Jesus Christ, I know I have sinned and done things against You. I want to turn away from sins and what is wrong in my heart. I want to go where You go in the future. Thank You for dying on the cross for me that my sins may be forgiven. I beg You, Lord, to come into my life this day, come as my Savior and Lord. Be with me forever. This day and everyday I renew my commitment to you, Jesus, as my Lord and Savior. Today, and always, I renew my consecration through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your Mother, to Your Most Sacred Heart through the vessel of trust in Your Divine Mercy. I know I haven’t always been able to live up to my commitment but those failings don’t change the desire in my heart that You be my Savior. In fact, the times of my failure just confirm my need to have You as my Savior. These falls bring me to dependency upon Your Divine Mercy.
I ask You continue to pour in Your Spirit to my soul. I trust You.
Take me where YOU know is best. I trust You.
Guide me along roads that lead to You even if through the dark valley. I trust You.
Draw me close to You. I trust You.
Forgive my sins, Lord, lift me up and form me into the saint Your Heavenly Father created me to be.
I need You desperately now and always and I give myself fully to You starting now, again. I trust in You Lord and knowing You want my heart I give it to you now simply asking in return that You come into my heart and fill it with Yourself. Today, in this desperate need for Your Divine Mercy, I consecrate my life and every breath to telling the world and all souls I meet of that Divine Mercy.
Through the intercession of the Immaculate heart of Mary
Amen”
