Merry Christmas!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel” Matthew 1:23

Connie and I pray today especially that the Prince of Peace may be new born into your hearts. May all the joy of our Mighty God, come upon the earth this morning give you the strength to step forward into whatever you may be facing.

Emmanuel – God is with us. He is always with us. Ascend to the heavens, Emmanuel is there; lie down in Sheol, Emmanuel is there. Take the wings of dawn and dwell beyond the sea, Emmanuel’s is there. But, today, more than any other day God dwells among us. Shivering and hidden in the manger God reigns in all His glory.

It’s Christmas Day! Rejoice, rejoice! Sing with the angels!

“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!” Luke 2:13-14
