“Who God is in His Essence, no one will fathom neither the mind of Angels nor of man”. Jesus said to me, “Get to know God by contemplating His attributes” Divine Mercy in my soul # 30
“My daughter, know that My Heart is mercy itself. From this sea of mercy, graces flow out upon the whole world. No soul that has approached Me has ever gone away unconsoled. All misery gets buried in the depths of My mercy, and every saving and sanctifying grace flows from this fountain. My daughter, I desire that your heart be an abiding place of My mercy. I desire that this mercy flow out upon the whole world through your heart. Let no one who approaches you go away without that trust in My mercy which I so ardently desire for souls.
Pray as much as you can for the dying. By your entreaties, obtain for them trust in My mercy, because they have most need of trust, and have it the least. Be assured that the grace of eternal salvation for certain souls in their final moment depends on your prayer. You know the whole abyss of My mercy, so draw upon it for yourself and especially for poor sinners. Sooner would heaven and earth turn into nothingness than would My mercy not embrace a trusting soul.” Divine Mercy in my soul # 1777
Jesus’ Heart is a pure fountain of Mercy. “O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus..” (# 1319). This fount of Mercy is the “Ocean of mercy.”
Knowledge of this endless fount of mercy flowing from the Sacred Heart of Jesus is just the first step though. There is another heart that must also become a fountain of Mercy. Yours.
You must become so immersed in the Mercy of the Lord that your heart bursts forth with rivers of grace for others. Very often, this is how God chooses to touch those souls who are lost and do not pray.
By opening your heart to the mercy of God, you have found the greatest treasure of man. When one has a great treasure like this, one wants to show the world. It would be almost selfish to hide this treasure, keeping it for ones self.
In the end, we will all be held to account for the talents given us by the Father. He gives us nothing that He doesn’t have in abundance. He gives us great treasure far beyond 1, 5, 10 or even a billion talents. The soul who receives this great treasure of mercy is twice graced when he gives it away. This soul will come to see that the more it ‘spends’ this treasure of mercy upon others, the greater the trove of mercy becomes within the soul.
Remember the continued lesson Jesus gave to His disciples when He had taught them how to pray. “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” Matthew 6:14-15
Start by letting go of your sins, forgive yourself. Then, let that stream of mercy’s fountain flow into a gushing torrent upon all you meet. Especially those who have wronged or hurt you.
