“I rejoice, because I have perfect confidence in You.” 2 Corinthians 7:16
Trust is the key to everything.
You must look in the mirror and ask the person looking back at you, “do you believe God is God? Is God on His Heavenly throne?”
If your answer isn’t a fast, wholehearted “YES”, you need to change that immediately. Find a good priest to help you find trust and faith.
If your answer is yes, way to go, let it all go. That means –
Let your sin go: Jesus died to remove your sin and guilt. His death and resurrection opened the gates of Heaven for the sinners. “All grace flows from mercy…. Let no one doubt concerning the goodness of God; even if a person’s sins were as dark as night, God’s mercy is stronger than our misery.” Divine Mercy in my soul # 1507
Let your worry go: God is in control – nothing left for you to stress. “Accept whatever is brought upon you, and in changes that humble you be patient. For gold is tested in the fire,” Sirach 2:4-5
Let fear go: “We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28. What is there to fear when God is Sovereign in your life?
Let weakness go: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong.” Find the strength of Samson – strength that is in the Lord.
