A little midweek praise break to go along with our meditation from Isaiah yesterday.
“Lord, depart from me I am a sinful man. If You knew what I’ve done.”
As I sit here this morning, I think of Isaiah and Simon – Jesus chose these men and many others, all who are sinners when called. It wasn’t their holiness that drew God to call them out. It was their willingness to trust Him, to trust that His Divine Mercy can make them holy as the Father is Holy and give them the words.
Lord Jesus, I will trust in You. If You call me to go forth into the night’s darkness of the world to seek and call Your sheep, “Here am I! Send Me!” It is through the burning ember of Your Divine Mercy and the white hot fire of the Holy Spirit that I am empowered to be Your voice to the world. “Here am I! Send Me!”
