Happy New Year, Road of Faith!
“Welcome to you, New Year…. So today I submit myself completely and with loving consent to Your holy will, O Lord, and to Your most wise decrees, which are always full of clemency and mercy for me, though at times I can neither understand nor fathom them. O my Master, I surrender myself completely to You, who are the rudder of my soul; steer it Yourself according to Your divine wishes. I enclose myself in Your most compassionate Heart, which is a sea of unfathomable mercy. ” Divine Mercy in my soul #1449-1450
“Jesus, bless this pen so that everything You order me to write may be to the Glory of God.” Divine Mercy in my soul # 1567
The “pen” with which I write is The Road of Faith (www,THEROADOFFAITH.net), I pray God give me guidance and wisdom to write words that give glory to His great Mercy and help other souls as they walk the road of faith.
To draw others to see God is present, and active in all lives is the reason I decided to share the miraculous true story in my book, “I knew His Voice.” This same goal motivated me to share my reflections with my Emmaus brothers, leading to the beginning of THEROADOFFAITH.net New Year’s Eve 2019.
I’ve grown a lot through my blog journal. If I can lead one person to find God or know Him better, through the sharing of my personal stories, my struggles and sometimes, my failures are more than worth it. And, for this I need the help of the Road of Faith community. If you’re following on Social Media, go to www.THEROADOFFAITH.net and subscribe. Everyone can share the Road of Faith with everyone they know and ask them to subscribe. Subscribing is no cost and insures any reflection is received in your email, plus, my wife and I pray daily for every subscriber.
For my wife and I, this New Year bring new adventures. We will head out west to some of the National Parks like Glacier, the Tetons and Yellowstone. We go to see the glories of God’s fabulous creation. To see things that only the Divine could create. We will share these and the shrines and churches we come across in our road. I hope those posts will inspire you to know we have a great God.
As we seek to share sites that show the beauty of our Catholic faith highlighted in locations, shrines, Cathedrals, country churches, our primary goal is to seek to share the great love and message of God’s Mercy to those we meet.
I pray that the Father give an opportunity to meet and share the message of His Divine Mercy to this lowest of His apostles of Divine Mercy.
I plan to start the feature, the ‘Psalms on the Road’ in January. This will be a simple feature each week to share a Psalm (or section of one if longer).
God knows where this new year will lead and the reflections that will be written. If one touches you, please share in the comments. I receive great joy from hearing how your faith or stories come out of my writings.
I pray for The Road of Faith – “O my Master, I surrender myself completely to You, who are the rudder of my soul; steer it Yourself according to Your divine wishes”

God bless you and Connie with another wonderful travel year! I don’t read daily, but it surely seems that the days I am on are ones that speak directly to me. Sharing your site with a relative in hopes it will uphold him through difficult times of anger and sadness and loneliness. Happy New Year!
I read your reflections of your blog daily as I incorporate them as part of my daily. prayer routine. Thank you for the inspirations they give. I also read your book and understand how you are moved to write them. I pray that I can also hear the Voice of God as clearly as you have! Happy New Year and safe travels for both of you. May God lead you on an enchanting path.
Thank you, I am very humbled. The key to hearing God’s voice is to listen. Get used to hearing Him speak within you heart and mind. Write down in a journal what you ‘hear.’ And realize that God IS speaking to you
