“Welcome to you, New Year…. So today I submit myself completely and with loving consent to Your holy will, O Lord, and to Your most wise decrees, which are always full of clemency and mercy for me, though at times I can neither understand nor fathom them. O my Master, I surrender myself completely to You, who are the rudder of my soul; steer it Yourself according to Your divine wishes. I enclose myself in Your most compassionate Heart, which is a sea of unfathomable mercy. ” Divine Mercy in my soul #1449-1450
“Jesus, bless this pen so that everything You order me to write may be to the Glory of God.” Divine Mercy in my soul # 1567
The “pen” with which I write is The Road of Faith (www,THEROADOFFAITH.net), I pray God give me guidance and wisdom to write words that give glory to His great Mercy and help other souls as the walk the road of faith.
To draw others to see God is present, and active in all lives is the reason I decided to share the miraculous true story in my book, “I knew His Voice.” This same goal motivated me to share my reflections with my Emmaus brothers, leading to the beginning of THEROADOFFAITH.net New Year’s Eve 2019.
I’ve grown a lot through my blog journal. If I can lead one person to find God or know Him better, the sharing of my personal stories, my struggles and sometimes, my failures are more than worth it. And, for this I need the help of the Road of Faith community. If you’re following on Social Media, go to www.THEROADOFFAITH.net and subscribe. Everyone came share the Road of Faith with everyone they know and ask them to subscribe. Subscribing is no cost and insured any reflection is received in your email, plus, my wife and I pray daily for every subscriber.
God knows where this new year will lead and the reflections that will be written. If one touches you, please share in the comments. I receive great joy from hearing how your faith or stories come out of my writings.
My plan this year is to finish writing and editing a new daily devotional book that I can hopefully publish. It is currently titled, “Day by Day on the Road of Faith.”
The first reflections this year will be a series that started at the end of last year with St. Joseph and heroic virtues. Pope Francis consecrated this year to St. Joseph and on the New Year’s day, I can think of no better man to lead us down the Road of Faith than St. Joseph.
I pray for The Road of Faith – “O my Master, I surrender myself completely to You, who are the rudder of my soul; steer it Yourself according to Your divine wishes”
