“While they were there, the time came for her to deliver her child. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.” Luke 2:6-7
The biggest new story of all time occurred nearly two thousands years ago in a small manger in Bethlehem.
Grand news, the grandest, of a baby boy born in the dark night.
This great news of the birth of the mightiest of Kings – the King and all kings – didn’t make CNN or the Times yet this event was exclaimed by all the heavenly host of angels.
“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!”” Luke 2:13-14
Let us join together this day to sing the song with the angels as we proclaim to all the world that today there is born the One Who is Savior and King of the whole world.
The Lord has chosen you to be His reporter.
Merry Christmas to you!
Yes, we need to be the reporters!
