“But to all who received him, who believed in his name, He gave power to become children of God” John 1:12
“My Father and your Father, to My God and your God.” John 20-17
We may not be “full of grace” as our Blessed Mother, but we are grace filled. The Lord called us brothers and children of God. He told Mary that He was ascending to His Father and our Father. That is pretty amazing and should fill the soul with Grace.
We may not be “full of grace”, but joy of joys, the Lord is waiting for you in the Eucharist. The Angel, Gabriel, came to Mary to address her and confirm her status. The Lord, Himself, comes to you every time you approach the altar. And, each time, He is filling the soul full of grace in superabundance.
Through the Sacraments, especially in the Eucharist and confession, we are filled with the tremendous grace of God the Father.
Jesus promised, “I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.” Matthew 28:20 He never lies. He makes this evident during Christmas when the soul can feel His Presence.
Jesus is Emmanuel, “God is with us.” He truly is with us. I know many think God is on His throne in Heaven and many think He has little interaction with His people, but, I can attest that Jesus is with us. In the first months of my daughter’s illness, I saw Jesus acting directly with me and for me. He spoke to me several times in those months and as you can read in my book, “I knew His Voice”, our Lord came to stand at my daughter’s side and hold her hand. He later came and helped her through a very difficult situation, healing her from months of extreme difficulty (and, casting out demons to free her from their grasp.”
The greatest thing I experienced through all of those miraculous interactions with our Lord wasn’t hearing His voice but was truly knowing that I am His Son. Having affirmed that I have heard His Voice and am within His flock. Never to be forgotten nor abandoned and always to be defended by the Shepherd.
“My sheep hear My voice. I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.” John 10:27-28
