“Then the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery and had her stand in the center. “Teacher,” they said to him, “this woman was caught in the act of committing adultery. In the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?”  They asked this to test him, so that they might have evidence to accuse him. Jesus bent down and started writing on the ground with his finger.” John 8:3-6

The enemy drags you before God and points at you, declaring all your sins before God and the world. In shame you want to cover. But, God made you, He came for you and He calls you. Sinner though you may be, Jesus calls you.

God created everything out of nothing. But, when He looks up at you, He sanctifies you, creating a saint out of a sinner. What Jesus wrote in the dirt that day, and, even the galaxies someday will go away. But, the creation of this saint is forever.

“Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, Lord,” she answered. Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.” (V. 10-11

Rise soul from this encounter with Jesus. Don’t look around for condemnation, they have fled. Jesus the Lord of Divine Mercy has called you to greatness. He has added up all your sins on the chalkboard then wiped away the results. Sin upon sin, dozens times thousands all equal zero in His Mercy.

Rise sinner, receive your crown of righteousness. Become who the Father created you to be, who the son calls you to be, and who the Spirit sanctifies you to be.

A saint.
