God’s greatest creation is Mary. Think about what Jesus did and the vessel He created to bring Himself to the sacrifice of the cross and all its salvific power and grace.
Jesus knew before time began that His people would fall. He is omniscient, all-knowing. And being the all-powerful and merciful God that He is, He had a plan for salvation. He would come to the world He created as one of His own people. He would show them how to love and then in that love and mercy, He will come forward as a sacrifice to pay the price to cleanse His people and bring them home to present to His Father.
As the all powerful God, He took time with the Father and Holy Spirit to plan it all out. When He came to earth, He would come as a baby, the most humble manner possible. This would be His first lesson. But, to do so, He needed a mother. A woman worthy of being the Mother of God. She would be without sin, immaculately conceived -washed in the power that comes from His Divine Mercy through the cross. She would be given all the graces to be the most loving, kindest, humblest, gentlest, merciful, tenderest, and compassionate of His creations. In fact, she would be the most holy person who ever lived. What son would do anything less for his mother than give her everything in His power. And, everything is in Jesus’s power.
He would make her name renowned that every culture would have a variation of it. In fact, her name would be the most popular woman’s name in history. He would adore her so much that she would be the most portrayed woman in art all history.
Then, He would give her the power to crush Satan’s head – Genesis 3:15.
Any father would want His daughter to be pure, beautiful and lovely. He would protect his daughter from anything that could harm her. He would would her to be a princess, a queen. That is what God the Father has done for His daughter. He filled her with grace, she is ‘full of grace’ Luke 1:28. God the Father protects her with a jealous and all-powerful love. If anyone attacks or threatens His little girl, they are in big trouble.
And the Holy Spirit fashioned the perfect bride. Her fiat would be the perfect ‘I do’. The Holy Spirit creates a bride whom the angels would bow down to in her presence. Everyone would sing songs of her beauty. Her loveliness and purity and humility would make the darkness flee.
Mary is truly the masterpiece of the Trinity.
But, Jesus wasn’t done yet. From His Cross and with His dying breathes, He asked His Perfect Mother, to be our mother too. And then, He gave each of us adoption papers to make His Mother, our mother too. And, she is just waiting for us to ‘sign’ them. She is our mother. And all the blessings God gave to her, she craves to give to her children.
His Divine Mercy flows perfectly through the Blessed Mother as she intercedes for us.
