God of Salvation

“But as for me, I will look to the LORD. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.” Micah 7:7

You too, should not back away and say that you are not worthy of receiving greater graces when I give them to you. I know you are unworthy, but rejoice all the more and take as many treasures from My Heart as you can carry, for then you will please Me more” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 294

God makes it abundantly clear that He desires to give His Mercy to all souls. Don’t believe me? Look at the cross. What father would let his son die for another soul, let alone the souls who did the killing?

None of us are worthy to approach God and ask this Judge for anything but a condemning sentence. Not even in my wildest dream could I see myself even groveling for God to show me Mercy. I know what I’ve done through my life to offend Him. I know my transgressions that should condemn me. I can’t even imagine what sins I’ve committed that I’m not even aware of.

“THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE” Romans 3:10

The truth is, none of us are worthy; we are only made worthy in God’s sight by Jesus’ redemptive work on the cross and the result is this; “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Cor 5:21). It’s not whether you feel worthy or not, it’s a matter of God declaring you worthy because of the imputation or imparting of Jesus’ righteousness to us.

Call out to God with humble confidence and He will hear you. Mercy is yours but you must ask.

“God has destined us for acquiring salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us, that all of us, whether awake or asleep, together might live with him.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
